Chronicles of the Wayward Moot

WELCOME TO THE MOOT, oh world-wanderers and word-whisperers. After two years of Peace Corps. After 2,200 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. What. Comes. Next?

The Chuffmate and I went up to Cerro de Arcos to camp a couple of nights ago. Here´s the photographic proof. You guys and gals should definitely get your arses down here to sample some of the mystical Druid-temple-like magic of this place. It´s like Stonehenge without the tourists.

Yes that´s a person. Great place for rock climbing like I said months ago...

Sunset through the keyhole. That rock is about 40 feet tall.

Just before noshing a delicious Zatarain´s Jambalaya dinner (thanks guys for the care package!) we were treated to this sunset over the Cordillera de los Andes...

Here´s the BRAVO picaflor that attacked us for about a half hour while we were cooking dinner and tending the cave fire. Pretty little bugger.
