Chronicles of the Wayward Moot

WELCOME TO THE MOOT, oh world-wanderers and word-whisperers. After two years of Peace Corps. After 2,200 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. What. Comes. Next?

Scrambling in an arch on Cerro de Arcos... this one is rather unknown, so says Fernando, the guide who forst showed me the route.

Perched on a stone sentinel (of sorts) waiting for the sweat to dry and the sun to set. They can´t all be group photos... wish I had more time to write longer captions. Oh well, if you have questiosn you can ALWAYS write to me, specially since that new internet place opened in Zaruma... seems fast and reliable, knock on wood.

Another photos from the couple´s visit. Here they are reading on that waterfall... a few weeks before another vollunteer and I climbed that thing up to about 780 feet before we started to run out of daylight and decided to turn back.

El Oro. EL ORO. El Oroooooooooooooooooo. Life is golden. Miss yall.
