After the parade came the eating of some street food that has given me a case of incredible diarrhea since then, followed by the best fireworks show I've seen in Ecuador. I hope these pics speak for themselves.


The next day I headed up to the pool to enjoy more of the incoming summer-like weather with a decent crowd of locals. One of my frisbee playing friends helped take this picture while I took off from where teh diving plank used to be. Not sure what happened to it...hmm. Not terribly graceful here A) Because I don't like head-first diving from too high up and B) Because I was launching from a thin wet metal tube and didn't want to slip and end my PC service early.
