Chronicles of the Wayward Moot

WELCOME TO THE MOOT, oh world-wanderers and word-whisperers. After two years of Peace Corps. After 2,200 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. What. Comes. Next?

Not a peace sign, but a number indicating how many high mountain passes I climbed up and over that day. This would be the second.

And coming down the other side, I spied a lake to camp near.

And voila, waterfront property for an overnight and a huge meal of vegetarian chile and mashed potatoes. Faaaantastic.

Another day, another pass to climb over. Up, up, and away.

OK for real, if you look at this photo large size, the little speck on the rocky stuff in front of my finger is a person. Trying to get the scale of these landscapes across....
