It's that time of the year again. Gotta rake up the damned leaves. It's like nature is trying to tell us something... ughh.
Paid a visit to Baltimore recently, a bit of a reunion with a friend who appeared in the early posts of this blog back in 2004 and 2005. We climbed Old Rag Mountain, which this time involved blowing past dozens of ill-prepared people with physiques of a jelly-like consistency. And there was some kind of monkey-human half-breed up there, as evidenced by the photograph.
Visited Grand Isle State Park a few weekends ago. The Army Corps of Engineers is doing some kind of beach restoration. Looks like the beach used to have a gigantic tubular sandbag in it, judging by the way they're "restoring" it.
