More wild plantlife on the Filo trip.

Jungle Dave and me waking up to a welcome cup of coffee and another thousand feet to climb. The previous day was 4100 feet, so this didn't sound so bad by comparison. Then again, we had only just gotten to the ugly part of the trail...

Here's Dave. That's the trail behind him. Believe it or not.

Here's an unnamed waterfall visible from near our second camp after climbing a vertical mile from Dave's site. We were thinking fo calling it Cascada de Dolor (Waterfall of Pain). There´s another smaller one not in this particular frame that might get the name Cascada de Amor (Waterfall of Love) Love and pain. That's what it takes to make it up this far into untouched wilderness.

Your author and friend and son and Chuffmate happy to be making it back alive. That lump in the back ground is Pan de Azucar again. (Sugarloaf.. though I hear it aint so sweet.)
