Chronicles of the Wayward Moot

WELCOME TO THE MOOT, oh world-wanderers and word-whisperers. After two years of Peace Corps. After 2,200 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. What. Comes. Next?

More exemplary mountain flora. I was going to write "pretty flower" but that's not much of a caption is it?

Elephant and Bobcat cruising a section of the original (so we're told) Inka Trail.

What's around the next bend? Walking along the steep slope of a wildly rugged mountainside is great fun when your path is this well-designed. Those Inkas were something else.

This will never do the real place justice. The trail actually crosses right across the face of that slope in the distance, right to left, but you can barely tell there was ever a disturbance from this angle.

More ruins after we descended from the third pass. You can see some of the ritual fountains in line at the bottom of the shot.
