On the road/trail again...

PICTURES!

So this computer kicks me off really soon, all I get to write is some quick explanation of what you see below.

I went to pick up the Chuffmate in North Carolina and then we went to the okefenokee Swamp in Georgia, where we stayed with some awesome friends of hers and did an overnight canoe trip in the alligator-infested swamp waters.  Hence the alligator and canoeing pics.

Back in Louisiana we went fishing and barbequed and listened to music and met with my cousins and aunt and uncle and had a CRAWFISH BOIL.  Thanks to all who helped make that happen.  There's a pic of me and the family at the crawfish boil.

Then the Chuffmate and I flew to San Diego where we stayed with some awesome Trail Angels, Scout and Frodo.  The second night we slept in the treehouse in their backyard, which is the pic of the wooden place with a tree growing through it.  The nose picking photo is us making nice with some new "hiker trash" friends.

Dirty feet picture from our first ngith on the trail...

Group pic at the souther terminus of the PCT near the Mexican American border.

Mile 1 sign.  Only 2664 to go or something like that!

Shot of the forbidding bodrer area...

A water cache in the desert....

Finally, for your viewing pleasure, a video I took of one of the nice ridge walks with views and everything.  More when I can get another card reader to borrow.  Send messages if you can, it's great for trail morale!

Till next time, happy trails!
