On the trail!

Hi there to all in the "real world." (heh.)

I'm at mile 109.something, Warner Springs, CA.  Getting ready to head out on the trail again sometime today.
Been meeting tons of great people and seeing amazing wildlife, plants, and scenery.  And heat.... my thermometer read 160 degrees on the ground the other day around 12:45pm!
Learning to hike early and long, then rest in the worst heat of the day, then go again till almost dark.  I really would like to write much much more, but there are people waiting for the computer.  Love to all, and think happy thoughts as there is a fire supposedly closing part of the trail ahead, and there may be lots of snow in the mountains to the north, and I don't have waterproof shoes...duhhhh.

Oh by the way, yes there are rattlesnakes and one of them rattled at us in the trail a few days ago.  Exciting = )
