Chronicles of the Wayward Moot

WELCOME TO THE MOOT, oh world-wanderers and word-whisperers. After two years of Peace Corps. After 2,200 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. What. Comes. Next?

25 Jun 2008

Hiking back down, it's easy to see why it's called Guitar Lake.

That's Kombuddha in front of the West face of Mt. Whitney.

A day later, flowers as the trail heads higher and higher to Forester Pass, the highest point on the PCT. (Mt. Whitney is a side trip on the John Muir Trail)

You're as cold as ice....no really, it's ice. Ice ice baby. Babum baddadum baddadumbum.

Taking a siesta in the sun before the last grunt up Forester pass. One day: The highest Mountain in the lower 48. The next day: The highest point on the whole 2,650 mile long trail. Did I mention that I'm feeling fit?
