Chronicles of the Wayward Moot

WELCOME TO THE MOOT, oh world-wanderers and word-whisperers. After two years of Peace Corps. After 2,200 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. What. Comes. Next?

Slogging up Mather Pass. You can see my friend ALHANOCA there making his way up in the snow.

Now who would be dumb enough to lug a silly garden statue all the way up here? Beats me.

Lower Palisade Lake. The surroundings just below this place were probably the most incredible that I've seen so far on the trip. No pics though, as the scenery just wouldn't translate properly and I don't want to disrespect it.

Fern gully. Fern shadow. Fern hollow. However you slice it up, this place has magic in the air.

And deer in the air too. What a lovely place.
