Chronicles of the Wayward Moot

WELCOME TO THE MOOT, oh world-wanderers and word-whisperers. After two years of Peace Corps. After 2,200 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. What. Comes. Next?

Well these things happen, you see.

Anyone wondering why they stopped seeing my footprints after the bridge crossing Dusy Branch, this is why: I took the Bishop Pass Trail up and over Bishop Pass to hitch into town. I'll get back another cool way so I don't have to backtrack. Unbroken footsteps Mexico to Canada, maintain integrity!

View back towards the canyon climbing up towards the Kearsarge Pass Trail, where most of the others hiked out to resupply.

Late day tarn reflections.

It's true. Well, and about 6,000 calories a day, or more if you can get 'em.
