Chronicles of the Wayward Moot

WELCOME TO THE MOOT, oh world-wanderers and word-whisperers. After two years of Peace Corps. After 2,200 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. What. Comes. Next?

Back in the last of the high mountains, I met up with Warner Springs Monty, Patricia (Edelweiss), and this lady, Ricola. She ROCKS. We hiked together for a few days and had some great talks. What a wonderful sunshiny spirit. Hanging out with Ricola really gave me a good boost of spirits and energy and I hope to hike with her again later in the trail-world. Here she is on her way up to the amazing landscape near Sonora Pass.

This pic is for my little brother. Dude, that horizontal line there on the opposite slope is a road/Jeep track. Wooooooow. Gotta get the Wombat running agian one day hehehe. Maybe on biodeisel though!

More Ricola strutting her stuff.

There is no escape from face-shaking photos, not even on the PCT. All hail the jiggle-lips ha HA!

Monty and Patricia nearing the TRUE Pacific Crest. This is what I was imagining the trail to look like a lot of the time. Just incredible up there. The next day the smoke from all of the fires had blown in and screwed up the view all nasty.
