Chronicles of the Wayward Moot

WELCOME TO THE MOOT, oh world-wanderers and word-whisperers. After two years of Peace Corps. After 2,200 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. What. Comes. Next?

Dung beetle mania. That's a shitty way to make a living.

Here's a shot of the supercool Travertine Hot Springs outside of Bridgeport. Several pools, all of varying temperatures, and a neat littel waterfall/channeling system that carries the mineral water from the source to the pools, as you can see in the video I posted earlier. The mountain view from here during sunset was just breathtaking.

Some of the mineral formations where the hot water cascades down like in an expensive tacky livingroom sculpture.

Like I mentioned before, the fires make things a little smokey at times.

A nearly geometrically perfect stone pyramid that just naturally occurred out there in the wilds.
