In the high country before the descent to Sonora Pass. I urge yall to click on this image and blow it up so you can see the tiny speck of a person right above that snow patch at the top of the ridge. That should convey the scale of these landscapes a little better than my prose ever could.


Monty, Edelweiss, and Ricola hoofing it over the slopes. Whenever we were sitting around breaking and Monty wanted to go, he'd ask "Who wants to go to Canada?"


Here he is apparently pointing to Canada or someplace distant.


More Ricola. I can't tell you how hard it is not to do the long Riiiiiiiiiiicolaaaaaaaaa thing from the commercial.


Your friendly Mountainjedi Bobcat on an alpine promontory. We all wish that the trail were about 1,000 miles shorter so that we could afford to stop and take some time exploring these backcountry places. Instead, there's the constant push northward.
