Almost caught up on these pics. Here you can marvel at two vicious carnivorous plants actually ... hugging? Yes folks, you saw it here first.


Castle Crags as seen from the last part of a 4,000 foot climb out of the valley below them. There be berries in those woods I tell ya. If you zoom in to investigate this one you might be able to discern the switchbacks in the trail below the crags.


A Yeti-like vision from Bull Lake, the Great Lake in the Sky. Hint hint.


Do they actually get enough wayward Vespas up here on the dirt roads at 7,000 feet to merit making a sign prohibiting them? Incredible. $5,000 hammers anyone?


Show me a person who walks like this and I'll show you a person who doesn't know how a human being walks. Prize for absolute worst interpretive Forest Service sign/information kiosk definitely goes to the one at Scott Mountain Summit on Hwy 3.
