An interesting sight in one of the last stops Yak and I made in California - AHEM - Kahlifoania. Etna, CA was pretty cool. The ice cream at the old fashioned drug store was perhaps the best part. Well, that and getting a ride from a drunk guy who gave us his fishing pole. Did I already write about that? No problemo.
Yak and me on our way to Seiad Valley, where more misadventures awaited us.
Cruising to a ridgetop campsite that night, the sky was looking to impress.
Two "Harley-hoppers" doing the nasty right in the trail. At least someone is getting some lovin!
Yak and I share a favorite flower on the trail, the Crimson Columbine. Didn't expect to see more of them but in the Trinity Alps we ran into this fine specimen near a creeklet we got water from.
