Chronicles of the Wayward Moot

WELCOME TO THE MOOT, oh world-wanderers and word-whisperers. After two years of Peace Corps. After 2,200 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. What. Comes. Next?

26 Nov 2008

Kingfisher and Bobcat trying to escape the blasting heat radiating from the stones. It may have been November but it was still hot like an oven in the direct sunlight.

Catching some air on the descent of the Hermit Trail.

Witness: A huge ditch in the middle of an enormous plateau. What does one do with a ditch? Hike down to the bottom of it of course! So without further ado...

Leaving Yosemite behind, Kingfisher and I headed East into the desert wastes of the southwest. What did we discover? That the wastes were FULL of life and beauty! Witness: Bighorn sheep.

Looks like blogger has begun to arrange photos by the order in which they were taken from bottom to top and I'm sick of rearranging them manually each time. Until further notice it will make more chronological sense if you read these entries from bottom to top. It'll take some getting used to, but so does everything eh?
